The next ride on Wine Bus is scheduled for Sunday 11 November during Open Wineries on Saint Martin's day. We'll meet at the Infopoint in Trieste (via dell'Orologio 1, on the corner of Piazza Unità d'Italia).
Programme:
Departure at 9.30 from Trieste. We'll be in Nimis at 11 to visit the first winery Dario Coos, a unique location for the beautiful landscape, but also for the microclimate, enabling grapes to grow dry and healthy and naturally dry the bunches. Guided winery tour and tasting for the wine bus participants. The winemaker will talk about the history of the winery and propose some wine and food pairings with the first wine that obtained the DOCG appellation in Friuli Venezia Giulia: the DOCG Ramandolo.
At 1 pm Wine Bus participants will be welcomed by the owners of Agriturismo Tonutti in Tavagnacco. You'll relax in the friendly atmosphere, have a tour of the winery and enjoy a guided tasting of 4 wines alongside the Open Wineries on Saint Martin's day Dish. You'll have the chance to chat with the winemakers and enjoy delicious seasonal food.
In the afternoon, we'll head to Corno di Rosazzo to visit the Winery Gigante Wine & Welcome, founded in 1957 and located on the hills of Rocca Bernarda. A passion for wine that was turned into a renowned winery in Italy and abroad, producing delicious wines representative of the region. Winery tour and tasting to enjoy the calm atmosphere of the countryside.
Open Wineries at Saint Martin's day is an opportunity to chat with passionate winemakers about the last vintage and admire the warm colours of Autumn.
A unique and special opportunity to enjoy the best regional wines from a different angle paired with local food by wine producers. Thanks to Wine Bus you'll be able to enjoy the day without the inconvenience of driving your car as someone else is going to drive for you!
The fee for Wine Bus is € 40,00, including 3 tours and tastings, Open Wineries on Saint Martin's day dish, a tour leader, transport and Wine Bus kit.
